Billy Elliot Performance: An Update

Sadly, we have decided to cancel the productions of Billy Elliot to the public.

Refunds will be available to those who wish to claim them, but already many of you have kindly donated your refund towards the costs of the production, which will not be recovered.

An email has been sent to all ticket holders with information on how to do this (or you can click the link below to let us know what you’d like us to do with your ticket) A huge THANK YOU to everyone for all of your support!

For the first time, Billy Elliot the Musical is being performed in County Durham, at Durham School. 

​​​​​Set in a County Durham mining town, against the background of the 1984 miners' strike, Billy Elliot is the inspirational story of a young boy's struggle against the odds to make his dream come true.  

The Durham School production of Billy Elliot is based on the international smash-hit film and featuring a score by music legend Sir Elton John.

Come and see our talented pupils in this remarkable show. But be quick, tickets are selling fast!

  • Opening Night Gala Performance Wednesday 18 March 2020 -  18.30 Reception – 19:30 Show, £17.50.
  • Saturday Matinee – 14.00, £12.50.   
  • All other shows - 19.30, £12.50.
