Monitor Selection Process
All students in the L6 are invited to apply for leadership roles in their U6 year.
For many this is the first time that they will have had to put themselves forward and to think about how they create the right impression to others in a competitive/selective environment.
All students receive feedback on their application and interview, whether or not they are successful in their application. Once again, for many it is the first time they will experience success and/or failure. The school views either outcome as a positive learning experience for the students as they mature into adulthood.
At the end of this process a Head of School, Deputy Heads of School, Heads of House and School Monitors are selected to be the student leaders for the following academic year.
"Our guide's engaging manner, politeness, sense of humour and informative commenting said much about the school and ensured that our visit was both positive and worthwhile."
