International Rowing Honours for two members of the Boat Club

Special congratulations go to Nicole Lamb and to Jack Deverson who have both gained international recognition for their achievements this season. Nicole has been selected to represent GB in the coxless Four and Eight at the European Junior Rowing Championships to be held in Belgium at the end of July. Jack has been selected to cox the England Eight at the Home Countries International to be held in Ireland at the end of July.

Myles Holbrough, who also attended the GB trials in Nottingham, improved upon his performance at the Spring assessments but just missed the cut. There are a number of other pupils seeking to emulate Jack by racing at the British Championships and being the fastest English medal winning crew in their event. Josh Tognarelli, Matthew Smith and Harry White in the coxless Four, Jess Graham and Anna Daglish in a regional Girls’ Eight and Myles Holbrough and pairs partner Dan Pearson in the Pair.
