Girls break two school swimming records

Two records were broken at the senior girls' swimming gala held towards the end of term. First, Emily Birkett took 2 seconds off her own 4 x 1 length individual medley record and then Rachael Parker beat her own 2 lengths backcrawl record by one second.

The event was well attended and supported and equally well contested. The girls swam really well, with MacLeod winning the relay event and Pimlico winning the overall trophy.

In the senior boys' event which was full of excellent swims and some very close races, The Caffinites came out winners in both the relay event and overall, with Poole coming second and School third.
