Old Dunelmians feature in Newcastle Falcons Sevens Success

Congratulations to 2 of our recent former pupils who helped Newcastle Falcons to their first ever victory in the famous Middlesex Sevens Rugby Tournament on Saturday 18 August 2007.Paddy Dias (who left in 2006) and Micky Young (who has only just left the School after completing his A-levels) played for the Newcastle side as they swept away all their opponents, defeating Worcester in the final. Another recent leaver, Robert Bell, represented Leicester in the same competition.
Robert Bell and Micky Young were both awarded Sports Scholarships when they joined Durham School in the Sixth Form, while Paddy Dias was a pupil here from the age of 11.

Sports Scholarships are now available at the school for suitable applicants at the ages of 13 and 16.
