Sailing at Durham School

Sailing is rarely available at many schools and we are pleased to be able to offer it as an option for pupils involved in the CCF, whether experienced sailors or complete beginners. Where do we sail? What type of boats? What competitions? And big successes? See Richard Hewitt

Kayaking

As a summer games option this is very popular. Run by Mr Andrew Wallace, who is a qualified Kayak instructor, the pupils can opt for this activity during games time. We have some excellent kayaks for the pupils to use and provide not only coaching on technique but also life-saving skills when on the water.
