Italian

Italian is offered as an optional afternoon activity to Sixth Formers who would like to learn something of this beautiful and romantic language. Depending on the ability and the dedication of the pupils, it is often possible to reach GCSE standard by the end of the Upper Sixth year. It is taught by the Head of Department, Mrs Fiona Parker, who is fluent in Italian.

Testimonials

"The quality of teaching is second to none. My son's academic ability has progressed amazingly since starting at Durham School. The support given in Dyslexia has given my son the confidence that he badly needed."
