Fencing at Durham School
Although Fencing is not an official sport at Durham School, we have four current pupils and one former pupil who have represented Great Britain at Fencing. This huge success has come about through our very close links with Lazlo’s Fencing Club, based here in Durham and led by the world-class Hungarian Master Fencing Coach, Professor Laszlo Jakab. Laszlo’s students have included Olympic, World and National Champions and we count ourselves extremely fortunate to have such close links with Professor Laszlo. Anyone interested in further details of his Fencing Club should visit his website at www.laszlofencing.org or telephone 0191 373 4425.Fixtures & Archive

Testimonials
"I would recommend Durham School Sixth Form to anyone as I I felt welcome from the day I joined and have greatly enjoyed my first year here. I've made a lot of good friends here and I feel that I have grown in confidence. The teachers are friendly and supportive and the House system is great. It's the perfect choice for anybody who wants to achieve good A-levels and have the chance to excel at music or sport. "
Liam Groves (Year 13 student)
