We were very privileged to have Google Expeditions visit School on Monday this week. Over 250 of our pupils went on a virtual reality expedition into topics they are studying. We delivered 20 Expeditions including trips to Mount Everest, into the digestive and muscular systems, Into a Cell, Barcelona, WW1, Ypres and WW1 trenches, earthquakes, volcanoes, Ancient Rome, the International Space Station and many more. Pupils from Year 4 to 13 enjoyed their expeditions and we hope to continue to use this fantastic resource in future lessons. Pictures show our teachers having a training session before we delivered lessons, Mr Sturt leading an expedition into a virus, Bow going to the Moon and our geographers visiting Mt Everest.
