Spectacular successes at British Rowing Championships
(23 July 2010)
At the British Rowing Championships the School had a number of pupils entered in their crews or composite boats and achieved a record medal tally for the Club: 2 Golds, 1 Silver and 1 Bronze. This year Durham School Boat Club has had one pupil selected to represent Great Britain while no fewer than six members of the club (not to mention two coaches) have been selected to represent England – a remarkable achievement for such a small school.
