Early Years

The Early Years of a child's education are crucial to future development. Within the nursery we provide children with a caring and nurturing environment, while encouraging confidence and motivation for learning through stimulating and creative experiences both indoors and outdoors.

A Happy Start

Each child will receive an invitation to a 'Taster Morning' where they can come and visit their new class, meet staff, their key-worker and friends. This enables children to become familiar with our environment both indoors and outdoors. Refreshments are available for parents so that they can become acquainted with other parents and have the opportunity to talk to staff.

An 'All about Me' booklet is given for parents and child to complete at home prior to your child starting school. This sharing of information enables staff to meet the individual needs of your child. Most of all we welcome the daily contact and partnership that we foster throughout each session.

Travis has only been with the Badgers for a short time. However, the change in him has been incredible. The support, guidance and attention offered to Travis has transformed him into a confident, outgoing and happy child. Thanks to all the Badger staff, Travis now looks forward to attending nursery and furthermore enjoys his time there.
