Open Mornings

NEXT OPEN MORNINGS

SATURDAY 4 OCTOBER 2008
SATURDAY 8 NOVEMBER 2008
SATURDAY 17 JANUARY 2009
SATURDAY 2 MAY 2009

For many people their first experience of Durham School comes from a visit to one of our Open Mornings.

Open Mornings offer a great opportunity to see round the School and to meet some of the current pupils and staff. We now hold joint Open Mornings for the Preparatory School and the Senior School with a shuttle minibus service operating between the two sites (just half a mile apart).

We would like to extend a very warm welcome to you to come and meet the staff and pupils, to be shown round the School and to enjoy the activities and displays. If you visit the Senior School, you will also be able to tour a boys’ House or a girls’ House (or both). The morning is usually rounded off by a chance to talk to senior members of staff over light refreshments.

You can let us know that you will be coming by telephoning the Senior School Admissions Department or the Preparatory School office or just arrive unannounced. Whichever you prefer, you can be assured of a very warm welcome.

You can also find out more about our forthcoming Open Mornings by telephoning either of the numbers given below.

Testimonials

"Since James has been at Durham School, we have noticed a dramatic change in his willingness to learn and listen. He has matured beyond our expectations. This transformation occurred within the first year at Durham School."
