Veterrimi IV Saturday 23 October

The four oldest school rugby clubs in the world - Cheltenham College, Durham School, Rugby School and Sherborne School - will meet at Durham School on Saturday 23 October to celebrate the origins of rugby football. There is a dedicated page on our website giving full details.In the morning the four schools will play in a “round robin” tournament. In the afternoon the bottom two teams will play off for the “wooden spoon” and the top two teams will contest the final for the Veterrimi IV trophy. In the evening prior to the event the players will enjoy a pre-match dinner in Big School and after the event a Veterrimi IV Celebration Ball will be held at Durham's Ramside Hall Hotel.
