Form 2 visit to Rainton Meadows

Form 2 visit to Rainton Meadows

(07 July 2010)

On Wednesday 23 June the children in Form 2 visited Rainton Meadows, the Durham Wild Life Trust site.

The sun shone while the children did pond dipping and grass sweeping, identifying the mini-beasts they found in the different habitats. After a picnic lunch they followed the nature trail, using a map and identifying landmarks and wildlife on the way. It was a fantastic day out.

Testimonials

"Durham School offers a host of opportunities for all interests. Our son enjoys everything he has encountered – but especially music, where the dedication and the ability of the staff is remarkable. We can’t keep him away!"
