Early Years visit to Durham's Botanic Gardens

The Early Years department at Bow ventured out to the Botanic Gardens on Thursday 1 July as part of their transitional activities, aimed at helping our younger children to prepare for the change of moving up a year group.

The pre-reception group in the Badger Class along with the Reception Class and our new Form 1 teacher Mrs Davies all set off on the short walk and the children paired up, one member from each class to help support each other. All enjoyed a very pleasant morning exploring the gardens before returning to school for a picnic lunch treat in the classroom.
