Pre-prep children enjoy competitive afternoon of sport

(28 June 2010)

On Thursday 24 June the Pre-Prep department at Bow held their third very successful ‘Multi-Skills’ sports afternoon. This event brings the more traditional sports day bang up-to-date as all the children are involved all of the time, thus avoiding boredom for the little ones!

Our appropriate theme this year was the Football World Cup. Ten teams of children took part (named after World Cup qualifying countries), rotating around ten different activities. In our own event Portugal turned out to be the winning team - a good omen for the Potuguese? Well done to all the children who took part in a very enjoyable and competitive afternoon.

Testimonials

"When you join the school, you get a buddy who is there to help you around the House and she is just like a big sister. I found that I soon made friends with all the other girls in MacLeod and many of the Pimlico girls. So settling in was not as scary and hard as I thought it would be - it was actually quite fun! "
Emily Phillips (MacLeod, Year 9)
