FA Cup 3rd Round selection for Old Bowite

Old Bowite Oliver Lee, son of former Newcastle United and England player Robert, was selected on the bench for West Ham United in their FA Cup 3rd Round encounter with Arsenal at Upton Park on 3rd January. Although he was not called upon on that occasion, this marked a significant step forward in the young midfielder's career.

Oliver, who will not be 19 until July this year and who is contracted with the Hammers until June 2011, made his debut for West ham United Reserves against Aston Villa on 1st September 2009 and is now a regular player for the Reserves side.
