BBC School Report

Pupils at the school have been taking part in the annual BBC School Report, a scheme culminating in the pupil production of various news bulletins and reports on anything from Books at Waterstones to Boxing at the Olympics. Each team of pupils needs to create a bulletin relating to a topic they find interesting; they then plan and carry out the reporting themselves. The process encourages the pupils to demonstrate their communication skills and gives them an insight into a career in the media industry.
