What It Takes To Be a Star

11 March 2010

Report by Robyn and Martha

Martha and Robyn interviewed the Director of the Gala Theatre Stage School to find out what it takes to make it in showbusiness.

As we have said in our report, from a very young age we have been interested in the dramatic arts.
Our report takes budding performers through the first stages of stardom.
Our account is necessary for many people around the country as it gives a general overview of the subject, as well as specific information concerning the GALA theatre.
When interviewing Kate Sorahan, the Arts Development Manager at the GALA theatre in Durham, we found the meeting highly successful. We also found her answers very engaging and thorough.
Overall we have benefited massively from this experience. Not just in understanding more regarding the art of drama and performing, but by participating in the project we have increased our knowledge of journalism and, you never know, we may be seen in five years on a regular television slot!
